Research Focus

Rudiger primarily contributes to Forrester's offerings for the IT Infrastructure & Operations professional. He is a leading expert on IT DR and IT process implementation and design but also works in the area of IT efficiency metrics and IT governance. Rudiger helps Forrester's clients assess their current state and implement measures to improve their IT service.

Previous Work Experience

Rudiger came to Forrester from Gartner where he worked as a manager consultant in the IT operations team. Before this he was with META Group where he was part of the Central European IT ops and benchmarking consulting practice. With 26 years in IT, Rudiger has extensive experience in sourcing, IT operations, and benchmarking. Prior to joining META, he served as manager consultant in Deloitte Consulting and in various roles at CA/Platinum Technology, Legent Technology, Compass, and Amdahl. The projects he worked on where in data center automation, IT security, outsourcing negotiation support, IT consolidation methodology (actual projects as well as methodology development), and IT infrastructure architecture and benchmarking.

Education

Rudiger holds a certificate of apprenticeship for Mathematical Technical Assistant. He speaks German and English.
